What is the Secret? There is no Secret!
Lots of companies will sell you ‘stuff’ or promise to reveal a newly discovered secret method of working through your troubles. The Simple Solution knows there is no secret to producing great results. However, we also know that what is necessary is to create a Simple Plan. There are 5 basic steps. Biography
Kenneth A. Beckham
Ken Beckham has provided structured business planning for the past decade serving a diverse market. Currently he is on contract with the University of Guam – School of Business – focusing on small business start-ups. He has conducted ‘training classes’ for young entrepreneurs and administers an outreach program to select islands in Micronesia. In addition, he had the opportunity to participate in efforts of the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme,) a pilot program for business incubators guided by local governments as well as NGO’s.
Ken has made presentations to groups as large as 500 (on retail management) and as diverse as bicycle manufactures in Tianjin, China (regarding liability insurance for USA deliveries.) He focuses on the fundamental item most often overlooked in business - effective planning for optimal outcome. During his 40 years as a businessman and counselor, he has owned and managed retail businesses, manufactured products in Europe and Asia, and distributed goods worldwide.
As the ‘founder’ of a patented technology ‘start-up’ company, he became President of the operation and maneuvered it through financial underwriters on Wall Street to take that business public (IPO - NASDAQ.) In addition he has served a major Building Materials Distributor on a board position and as an advisor to a financial firm specializing in financial management planning to medical professionals. His career has been replete with an extensive focus on developing plans - both business and personal. With a B.A. - Business Administration and an M.A.Ed. - Training and Development - his education makes him especially suited to exhort others to maximize their results. And his broad background provides an unusually wide range of experience in all segments of business operations.
